I am sitting in a cafe in Paris and beside me is a man who is quintessentially French. He is wearing tortoiseshell rimmed sunglasses, his hair is fluffy and parted to one side, he is smoking a cigarette, and is writing in a small notebook. He has a young way about him but is serious at the same time. I can’t help thinking what he might be writing about. If it’s for a job, school, or his own personal memories. What makes this city fascinating is that the people all have this subtle grace about them. Nothing is rushed. People see friends on the street and stop, kiss and chat. All the men have perfectly qoift, curly hair and everyone is beautiful. Why is everyone at home so crazy and assessed with getting shit done right now. Can nobody enjoy anything. I dont know this doesn’t make sense but it’s my thoughts….
